Bernie - La Fin

How cool is this hat of Bernie Brewer?  Unfortunately I do not own it, but if you can find one, would you mind sending it to me?  It is one of a handful that I want but cannot find.

This season was not a success for the Brewers on the diamond, but hey, we were only about 30 wins short of doing some good work.  This season was, however, a banner year for Hats of the Brewers.  We were able to feature 201 different hats.  It may seem crazy, but we were able to feature 26 different brands with Brewers/Wisconsin ties including Milwaukee Brewers, Wisconsin Timberrattlers, 2013 World Baseball Classic Team, Miller Park, Biloxi Shuckers, Colorado Springs Sky Sox, Brevard County Manatees, Wisconsin Badgers, Jacksonville Suns, Milwaukee Braves, Seattle Pilots, Madison Mallards, Lakeshore Chinooks, Major League Baseball, Nashville Sounds, Huntsville Stars, El Paso Diablos, Tuscon Toros, Beloit Snappers, Burlington Bees, Stockton Ports, Denver/New Orleans Zephers, Helena Brewers, Indianapolis Indians, Milwaukee Bears and the Milwaukee Brewers Minor League Franchise.

From a series of player designed hats, this is one of the Lucroy Hats.  There are also designs from Willy Peralta  (previously featured), and ones that I will be featuring including Scooter Gennet and Khris Davis.  Matt Garza and Kyle Loshe also did hats, but considering their complete colapse, they will not be featured.

Future's So Bright...

...well, I don't really have to wear shades, but I do like some of the up and commercial we have seen in September.  Hopefully, we can be competitive again in 2016.  This is the official spring training hat we silk be wearing there in Arizona in March.

Train Conductor Hat

My wife told me I look like a train conductor in this, it is certainly an old one!

'74 to '77 Road Hat

This is the Road hat that was introduced in 1974.  Similar to the home hat of the time that was established in 1970, but it had a yellow front instead of blue.  This was worn until the mb mit logo was introduced in 1978.

Hmmmm.....

This is another ebay find, nice fitted hat with the 2012 stars and stripes logo.  The catch is the patch is for the 2008 all-star game, 4 years before this symbol existed...hmmmm, you get what you pay for.

Mesh Back Fitted Hat

With a little air conditioning in back, gotta appreciate this hat.  Nice on a hot summer day!

Wisconsin Orange

Timberrattlers hat with a hunters orange highlights.  Last day off thus year for the Brewers and last minor league affeliate post for the season.

2013 World Baseball Classic - Team USA

The 2013 team featured Brewers All-Stars Ryan Braun and Jonathan Lucroy.  On this Brewers day off, this was a feature hat I've wanted to include all season.

A shade lighter than Brewers blue, I like this offshoot as it is my favorite color.

Oh Boy!!!

With many starters shut down, including Peralta, Nelson, Braun and Lucroy, it is hard to get my boy interested in the Crew.  Hopefully as he grows into this hat, he will have more success to follow.

Night 2 at the Park

Made it to Wrigley for the second night in a row to cheer on the Crew.  4 to 1 victory behind 6 scoreless by rookie Zack Davies.  

For so.e reason, I often pull out this old school white hat with back velcro strap for these games.

Family Night at the Park

An evening out with the family for Brewers vs. Cubs.  Not much of a game for a Brewers fan, but a wonderful evening and great time in spite of the 0 to 4 shutout.  Featured snapback is a classic im my collection only comes out a few times a year, and typically during this series.

Watching the Crew on T.V.

One needs a comfortable hat to wear around home while watching the Brewers on TV.  I choose this soft cloth light blue hat with a strap back and snap.  Perfect for taking a snooze on the couch.  Also, it has 1978 embroidered on the back to symbolize the first year this logo was effective, as well as (I'd like to think) the first full year I was alive to follow the Brewers.

Baseball Sunday during the NFL Season

With the Brewers having been eliminated for as long as I can remember this season, and with a huge Packers matchup tonight against the Seahawks, it is a little tough to get excited about the Crew.  With that said, here is me and the boy with our gear.  Hope we can break the 8 game losing streak today against the Reds!

Shuttle to the Game

Ever wonder what the Stennys shuttle to the game looks like...well, it's kinda a bit like this. This shuttle has been a primary mode of transportation to the games since my brother moved to the Bay View neighborhood in 2012.

It is good to wear your official hat when boarding the shuttle.  This one is one of the all wool hats that I am featuring this evening.

Miller Park Workers Hat

This is the official Miller Park worker/volunteer hat.  I got it in a trade from a really cool Miller Park volunteer, my dad.
