Brewers Pinstripes

The Brewers still have pin stripes that they wear as their Friday home jersey.  They are the white vintage jerseys with blue pin stripes, matching the pattern of the hat.  When you hear about wearing the pin stripes, you should think about the Brewers, not the Yankees.

Biloxi Shuckers

The Biloxi Shuckers are the crown jewel of the Brewers farm system this year.  They won their first round of the playoffs with a sweep of Pensacola and will be starting in the southern league championship series on Wednesday.  This is their batting practice hat, hope they can win the championship.

Blue and Gold

This hat is referred to as the 2-tone hat, a purely yellow hat with blue brim.  By wearing this hat I could be called Tommy 2 Tone, however, the reason I posted this hat today is that it is opening Sunday for the NFL football and these colors that were shared with the 1919 Acme Packers

On the day after 911, featuring the armed forces tribute hat.  I like this as the cammo bill is subtle, and it otherwise is the same official Brewers hat.

In remberence on 9/11/01, MLB teams wear the American flag on the side of their hats.  On patriot day I featured the current hat with logo, today is the hat and mit mb logo with flag.  This combined with throwback uniform has been worn on field on 9/11 in tribute.

1994

Q: How much more 1994 could this hat be?

A: None more, all that is missing is matching zubas.

I don't remember getting this hat, or whether it was purchased or a free give-away.  What I do know, though, is it had been sitting around may parents place for almost 20 years before I saved it and gave it a spot in my Brewers Hat collection.  It takes a special occasion to bring this one out, and that ocasion today is my brother Joe's birthday, as I am sure he has also sported this hat in the time it was around my parents.
